I’m Miss Tina Khanam, and my purpose has always been clear: to give the gift of sight. Since medical school, I’ve been drawn to the precision of refractive surgery and the life-changing impact it can offer. My care is deeply personal, thoughtful, and grounded in compassion. I aim to deliver outstanding outcomes while respecting your values, your lifestyle, and your comfort. My clinic is proudly hijab-friendly-designed to ensure privacy and dignity for every patient.
With over two decades of experience, I’m widely recognised as a leading cataract, cornea, and refractive surgeon. I’ve worked across top hospitals in the UK, including Imperial College London and King’s College, and my NHS work was based at Moorfields Eye Hospital. I’ve trained extensively in cataract, corneal, refractive, and anterior segment surgery, and have also served as a consultant in both the NHS and private practice, delivering safe and expert care to thousands of patients.
I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) and hold advanced qualifications in laser refractive surgery (Cert LRS). I was also a Training Programme Director with Health Education England and Clinical Lead for Women in Vision UK.
I am the co-founder and trustee of the Mannan Foundation Trust, a UK-based charity supporting women and children in disadvantaged communities. I also regularly volunteer in vision camps abroad, and training local teams to improve access to eye care globally.
