Day 1
Eye padded; vision very blurry; mild to moderate discomfort
- Complete rest; avoid bending or straining
Week 1-2
Vision beginning to clear (faster with DMEK); regular drop regime
- No heavy lifting; avoid eye rubbing
Month 1-3
Steady visual improvement; anti-rejection drops continuing
- No swimming or contact sports
Month 3-12
Vision stabilising; sutures may be removed (if applicable)
- Continue anti-rejection drops as directed
