Day 1

Eye padded; vision very blurry; mild to moderate discomfort

  • Complete rest; avoid bending or straining

Week 1-2

Vision beginning to clear (faster with DMEK); regular drop regime

  • No heavy lifting; avoid eye rubbing

Month 1-3

Steady visual improvement; anti-rejection drops continuing

  • No swimming or contact sports

Month 3-12

Vision stabilising; sutures may be removed (if applicable)

  • Continue anti-rejection drops as directed
