Temporary dry eyes
Mitigation: Usually resolves within 1-3 months; lubricating drops provided
Under-correction or over-correction
Mitigation: Enhancement procedure may be possible if needed
Temporary visual disturbances (halos, glare)
Mitigation: Typically resolve within 3-6 months as the cornea heals
Difficult lenticule extraction
Mitigation: Managed with careful surgical technique by experienced surgeon
Infection
Mitigation: Antibiotic drops prescribed; sterile surgical environment
